Record your video with your phone in vertical/portrait orientation

Make your video anywhere from 60-90 seconds long

Allow a few seconds after hitting record before speaking and a few seconds after speaking before you end the recording (this assures none of your stories get accidentally cut out).

To film with optimal lighting, make sure the light is coming in from the side or front of you (if the light is behind you, there will be a shadow on you in the video).

Place camera at eye level for more flattering video angles
